Superstar biodegradable glitter is indistinguishable from cosmetic polyester glitter (PET) based glitter. it is made of vegetable matter and will naturally degrade in the environment. It feels softer on the skin than traditional plastic glitter. 

It meets the requirement of EC regulation 1223/2009 and it has not been tested on animals. Superstar biodegradable glitter is 92% plastic free, and only 3% off the standard to meet the performance criteria for OK Biodegradable water certification.
