The Superstar Synthetic Round Brush is a premium, handcrafted brush designed for professional face and body painting. Round brushes are among the most essential tools used by artists worldwide, valued for their versatility and precision. They are ideal for line work, teardrops, swirls, fine detailing, and can also be used to quickly fill small areas.
Available in a wide range of sizes from #0 to #12, these brushes allow artists to create everything from ultra-fine lines to thicker, more expressive strokes. The Superstar Round Brush consistently maintains a sharp point, while its high-quality synthetic bristles are both strong and flexible, ensuring smooth and controlled paint application.
The Superstar Synthetic Round Brush (Maayke) is available in sizes: #0, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10, and #12.
How to Use
Load your brush generously with clean water.
Activate the paint using your damp brush.
Proper activation is indicated by the formation of small air bubbles on the paint surface.
Ensure the paint has a smooth, fluid consistency, then remove excess water by wiping the brush on the edge of the container.
Apply to the skin using smooth, controlled strokes.
If insufficient water is used, the paint may become too dry, resulting in brittle, uneven lines rather than smooth application.
Cleaning Instructions
Rinse the brush under cold or lukewarm running water.
Gently work Superstar brush soap through the bristles, always following the direction of the hair. Avoid harsh back-and-forth scrubbing.
Rinse thoroughly and gently massage the bristles in your palm. Repeat until no paint remains.
Pat dry using a clean disposable cloth.
If required (e.g., for next-day use), disinfect using 70% ethanol or isopropyl alcohol.
Lay the brush flat on a clean, dry surface to air dry. Avoid drying upright, as moisture can travel into the ferrule, weakening the glue and damaging the handle.
Store brushes clean, dry, and properly protected.
Important Note
Never leave your brush soaking in water with the bristles facing downward.
